Local 256 Answers Call to Help Local Church Recover from Hurricane Damage

Carpenters from Local 256 went above and beyond recently to help the Calvary Baptist Church in Brunswick, GA after it incurred major flood damage from Hurricane Matthew. Here’s a great video that outlines the project. Congratulations to these outstanding men and women for their dedication and love of community!

October 16 Set for Member Leadership Meeting

All Local 283 300-Hitter and 3rd Year Apprentice Leaders are encouraged to attend the committee meeting on October 16. We also encourage you to bring your spouse! 

Meetings are offered at Noon and 6:30 p.m. at the Local 283 Union Hall, 3025 Riverwatch Parkway, Bldg. 300, Augusta, GA 30907. Food will be provided for both meetings, so please RSVP to Pat Garner, lu283@bellsouth.net or 706-722-4445. RSVPs are requested by Monday, October 15.

Member leaders of Local 283, both 300-Hitters and 3-Year Apprentices, recently went to the Richmond County Neighborhood Associations Alliance monthly meeting in Augusta, GA. and had the opportunity to educate those in attendance about the benefits of joining the carpenters union.
