Our Locals provide the connection between our work, our membership and our engagement within the community. We are proud of the work they do every day on the job and in the community. Use the links below to read more about each of our Locals’ efforts.

CIA Meetings - We Need You!

Local 74 has a great Carpenters In Action committee and we are always looking for more members to attend and join our efforts!


We meet on the third Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Union Hall.

Our January meeting will be on January 17.

Make a resolution to become more involved in our Carpenters In Action committee. We provide vital work to the Nashville market regarding issues important to working families.


We Need You! Plan to attend our meetings, which are always held on the third Tuesday of every month at the Union Hall - right before our regular month Union meeting.

300-Hitter & 3rd Year Apprentice Leadership Breakfast set for January 19

All of our Local's member leaders - both 300-hitter journeymen and 3rd year apprentices - are urged to attend a committee breakfast on Saturday, January 19, 2019.


We will meet at the Western Sizzlin, 230 US Highway 80 East, Pooler, GA at 8 a.m.

Let's make 2019 a great year for member leadership and let's start by everyone bringing their spouses! Getting your spouse involved is not only welcomed but encouraged.

Local 256 Answers Call to Help Local Church Recover from Hurricane Damage

Carpenters from Local 256 went above and beyond recently to help the Calvary Baptist Church in Brunswick, GA after it incurred major flood damage from Hurricane Matthew. Here’s a great video that outlines the project. Congratulations to these outstanding men and women for their dedication and love of community!

All Journeymen (300-Hitter) and 3rd year apprentice leaders are urged to attend our next meeting on Tuesday, January, 15, 2019.

Meetings times are Noon and 6:30 p.m. at the Local 283 Union Hall.

Let's start 2019 off with a great showing - and that includes spouses! Your spouse is always invited to attend these meetings and it's a great way to keep them involved with our efforts.

Neighborhood Associations Alliance

Member leaders of Local 283, both 300-Hitters and 3-Year Apprentices, recently went to the Richmond County Neighborhood Associations Alliance monthly meeting in Augusta, GA. and had the opportunity to educate those in attendance about the benefits of joining the carpenters union.
