Millwrights Needed at Plant Watson
Job Location: Gulf Port, Mississippi

We need millwrights at Plant Watson for two different starting days (Feb 26 and March 1). However, orientation for both of these starts is being held at Plant Daniels. See below for details...


For Plant Watson work starting on Monday, Feb. 26 at 6 am, we need four journeymen and one foreman. Orientation is on Friday, Feb. 23 at PLANT DANIELS at 6 am. All workers must complete a drug test at the Pascagoula, MS occupational health clinic BEFORE reporting for orientation. Note that drug testing and orientation are non-paid processing times.


For Plant Watson work starting on Friday, March 1 at 6 am, we need 12 journeymen and four apprentices. Orientation is on Thursday, Feb. 29 at PLANT DANIELS. All workers must complete a drug test at the Pascagoula, MS occupational health clinic BEFORE reporting for orientation. Note that drug testing and orientation are non-paid processing times.


Journeyman scale: $31.50/hr, $6.00/hr H&W, $5.00 Pension, $2.99 annuity.

Carpentry Instructor for Job Corps

POSITION: Carpentry Instructor


LOCATION: BL Hooks JCC 1555 Mcister Dr. Memphis TN. 38116


SALARY: Local Foreman C.B.A. Scale ($32.715 plus benefit package) - paid holidays and vacation


DUTIES:

The basic intent of the Carpenter Instructor is to conduct a training program that will provide training opportunities for unemployed disadvantaged youths in the craft of CARPENTRY. Work experience and related training shall be divided approximately 70 percent manipulative and 30 percent related instruction.


REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants should have the skill and knowledge and patience required to teach all phases of the carpentry trade.

Applicants should have good communication, time management, organization and supervision skills. Also needed

are computer skills to deal with email, records, and reports. Applicants should be able to teach basic construction

math and safety. High School Diploma or equivalent required.


The following teaching credentials must be attained within 16 months of being hired or promoted into the Instructor

or Lead Instructor position:

OSHA 500 Construction Train-the-Trainer

Scaffold Qualification Train-the-Trainer

Green Building Awareness Train-the Trainer

Workforce Education 105-Integrated Curriculum Implementation

Workforce Education 106-Program & Facilities Management

PCI Cleanroom Panel Installation
