To meet growing work opportunities and membership in North Carolina, the Southeastern Carpenters Regional Council expanded its services to support contractors in the Raleigh/Durham area. North Carolina operations were previously only based in Charlotte, under Carpenters Local 312. The Raleigh/Durham office will serve as a satellite office of Local 312.

Efrain reports that skills training is in full swing for that location to meet contractor needs, including OSHA 10 and 30, Qualified Rigger & Signaler, Math for the Trades, Cleanroom Familiarization, Aerial Lifts, Builder Level and Transit, Total Stations, First AID, CPR, and AED. “We are currently supporting F.A. Wilhelm Construction, PCI, and Colorado Framing on their projects around the Raleigh-Durham area,” Villatoro said.
